AWSI Musings: Greenery to Perk Up 2017 Says Pantone…

We introduced the “SNapkin” concept in this post but have a dozen (or more) in the queue. This just in… Pantone has selected Greenery (as in 15-0343) to be the Color of the Year for 2017.

According to this piece from Adweek, the cheery green shade—aptly named Greenery—is meant to help with the year ahead.

Per Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute:

Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment.

AWSI, “nature’s neutral” is a refreshing, energizing color that we’ll enjoy discovering in nature, in textiles and appliances, and anywhere else it may pop up. Check out the video below to get more of a visual sense of where this color can and will appear.
