GroundHog to Text; Is Tweeting Far Behind?

AP had an eye-catching story this week about our favorite ground hog, Punxsutawney Phil. Anyone wanting to find out Phil’s Ground Hog Day (February 2) prediction can do so by texting “Groundhog” to 247365.

Though it take the skilled members of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club to listen for his prediction in a language they call “groundhog-ese,” apparently Phil will be sending his text messages in English.

Perhaps by next year, Phil will have his own Twitter account.  Then we can follow what he does the rest of the year ;  )
